Things to do in Milan:
1.Visit Milan’s extravagant Gothic cathedral, the Duomo.
You can climb up or take a lift up to the terrace of the Duomo.
2. Within walking distance from the Duomo, lies the impressive castle of the Renaissance Sforzesco family. The street connecting the Duomo and Castle is called Via Dante.
3.Visit ‘The Last Supper’ by Leonardo DaVinci. This iconic fresco is located in the refectory of the monastery next to the Santa Maria delle Grazie church. You have to book a ticket in advance, as tickets always sell out and cannot be bought on the day.
5.Coffee at the Gucci Cafe located in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle II.
6.Shop at 10 Corso Como which is a quirky ‘concept store’
7.Cocktails and Dinner at Armani Bamboo Bar
8.Shop at Quadrilatero d’Oro (the golden rectangle) which comprises of via Montenapoleone, via Borgospesso, via Della Spiga, and via Sant’ Andrea. This is where you find the most renowned Italian and international fashion designer boutiques.
Need a break from shopping? Head to Cova located on Via Montenapoleone for a hot chocolate and some pastries.
9. Brunch at Bar Luce Fondazione Prada. If you are a truffle lover, I would recommend ordering the Tartufo sandwich.
The restaurant is located in the Fondazione Prada museum. There is a gold-painted building which is part of the museum.
10. Visit Naviglio- there are lots of bars and restaurants. I have come across this amazing gelato place called Cioccolat Italiani. This is by far my favourite gelato place in Milan. Why? They fill the bottom part of the ice-cream cone with melted chocolate of your choice (white, milk or dark) and there is a ‘rose with white chocolate chip’ gelato flavour.
Another gelato place on Naviglio which shapes the gelato into a flower is Amorino.

Appervo Terrazo located on the Piazza del Duomo which overlooks the square! I would recommend sipping cocktails whilst enjoying the Italian weather and the view of the Duomo.
Another restaurant with a view is Bar Duomo. It serves the traditional Milanese saffron risotto.
